OK so another day has ended at the freestyle camp and that means tomorrow is going to be the Last Day. Today there was definitely less wind than there was yesterday so we used bigger boards, I was on a Starboard Go 155l, which gave me plenty of board compared to my JP I used yesterday. In the morning we were working on sail handling by incorporating clew first and ducking (going into clew first position by going underneath the clew and switching sides.) into freestyle moves e.g Heli Tacks and Upwind 360s.
Throughout the morning the wind was starting to drop so by the afternoon it was supping time (Stand Up Paddleboarding). We spent a bit of time getting used to it and then we took part in a team relay competition, our team came second to the other team, who’s captain won a Towel Poncho.
